Locavore Restaurant – Ubud

Locavore Restaurant- Ubud
Locavore restaurant in Ubud hits every yearly list of the worlds best restaurants since its opening. But this is not the only reason we love it….
Chefs Ray Adriansyah and Eelke Plasmeijer’s ingredient-driven menu to celebrate the farmers, fishers and food artisans of Indonesia. By working closely with local producers, Locavore supports sustainability within its community. Even their staff is hired not on the basis of experience but for attitude, social skills and willingness to learn. They carefully train the employees, give them responsibility and let them fly.
LOCAVORE: What’s in a name?
We are just speculating, but we have Carnivore (meat), Herbivore (Plants) and Omnivore (they’ll eat just about everything). Loca-vore means eating locally produced food… Incidentally, Loca (spanish for ‘crazy’) we believe this restaurant is for people, absolutely crazy about food..
